While we still have one group game unfinished, all BBL-3 playoff seats are now filled! The group games have been very exciting and brought up plenty of tiebreakers - all details are on the website.

The registration for our BBL-4 is now open. If you wish to participate, please go to our website: https://tinyurl.com/ze-bbl and enter your name in the signup form. By signing up, you agree to play fast, follow the rules and code of conduct, and timely report results on the website to avoid any delays.

I would like to welcome all returning and any new players who would like to join our blitz league. The registration will stay open until we get 32 participants and the group seeding is scheduled for January 26, 2021.

All the rules, code of conduct, and format will remain the same from the previous tournament. We will have a maximum of 32 players, divided to two groups with top four in each group moving to the playoffs. The tiebreakers and playoff rules will stay the same as well. Please note that each participant will have their own ZE challenge link listed on the Results page, allowing to automatically send a ZE challenge to this player.

The group seeding, based on the snapshot of participants’ rating as of January 26, 5:00am PST, has been completed and the games can now begin! This time we have 36 players, so each of you will be guaranteed at least 17 games in the group tournament.

I wanted to welcome all returning players and our newcomers to the BBL tournaments!
As always, I would like to reiterate that this is a blitz league and when you signed up, you agreed to play fast, abide by the rules and code of conduct, and timely report individual results on our BBL website!

In order to see who your group opponents are, please go to the home page of the BBL website (https://tinyurl.com/ze-bbl - bookmark this page!) where you will find the link to the Results page. Everything is now set up on that page, including a ZE challenge link for each of your group opponents, created for your convenience. Simply click that link for each of your group opponent and your BBL-4 challenge will automatically open on ZE.

The home page of the BBL website has also the result submission form where the winner of each individual game should fill in upon completion of the game in the following format:
Player A - Player B 1:0, Gammon (if applicable)

As usual, I intend to update the results multiple times a day. In order to speed the pace up, please review the results page often and, if you are not seeing some of your results, please don’t hesitate to submit them even if lost a game. Your assistance here is greatly appreciated.

Please remember that even though the games can already begin, the official start of the tournament is on Feb.1 as we wanted to give enough time for those on the game limit or with challenge criteria to clear it out. Please do your best to begin all your 17 games by Feb.1 to avoid delays.

Today is our official start date of BBL-4 and we have beaten all previous records by already completing more than 85 percent of all group games! 9 players have finished all their games and many others have only a couple remaining.

Please make sure to check the results table and report any missing games on the website. In case if you have any non-started games, please begin them now as we always aim to ensure all games are in play by the official start of each tournament.

Congratulations to you all and Joe Pesci in particular!
You all did great as never before so many players took part at a BBL. As you all belonged to the top 4 of each group, I guess you all can also consider yourself belonging to the elite of ZE   as it more difficult to compete than to sit on your high number of points.

A huge thank you to Leoton who made it all possible again and to Xapko for vital additions to the BBL website.
