Messages DahliaRich . . . it took a LOT of back and forth with ZE (back when there was some back and forth) to get what we have now regarding the messages. That is, the little icon at the top of the page indicating you have a new message below and the warning that you didn't hit the "send" button after typing a message. It used to be that you could type a long message, forget to hit the "send" button, make your move, hit the "submit" button and *POOF* your message was gone. As for the fact that your message doesn't get delivered if the game ends, well, it actually does. It's part of the game and stays with it. Granted, the back and forth ends. But you can start a new conversation pretty easily too. I've got nothing for ya regarding the avatars. Increased size, along with being able to save notes or such about various players, would be nice. I wrote "back when there was a back and forth" with ZE because I don't think there is anyone left. Everything is pretty automated now. It's pretty stable, so I don't see too many complaints. I hope this helps. Cheers! Lance aka Pokhra |

Message, avatars Agree with the messages. I rarely see a note that a player has left me until a few days later, if at all. Agree on the avatars. Once I thought someone had a picture of a nude woman in the ocean as their avatar, but turns out it was their dog. My eyesight isn't that bad either. |

Game ratings Rather than the combined rating always being shown in ladders and tournaments, I'd like to see the game ratings displayed. I.e. for nackgammon tournaments I'd like to see the use's nackgammon rating displayed in brackets in the results table. |

Player's average move with game clock It would be nice to add a feature where you can see how often a player makes a move daily. For example- Player A- 3.1 hours (This person makes a move frequently everyday)... Player B- 19.2 hours (This person may make one or two moves per day ) Player C- 43.5 hours (This person makes a move almost every two days... That would be helpful for me and some other players to accept a new challenge. Maybe, a new rule for future tournaments- not allow a player with at least 35 hours to participate in a BG, NG and AD tournament.... It is silly to see some tournaments running over a year. Gameknot is using that so I know which player makes a move fast or slow. Just a suggestion! |

game clock Great suggestion, Steelerhead! Unfortunately, I don't see any changes coming to this website. I'd say soon, but I haven't received a response from ZE in a few years. |

Response re game clock Me neither, but I had my knuckles rapped because I queried the randomness of the dice and the thread was closed down so that no one can ask about it anymore. I can often more or less predict what my throw will be when caught behind a number of blots. |

The ....but then you knew that already. Here it is. Feel free to comment as much as you like. http://zooescape.com/forum-thread.pl?home=1&th=417 This thread has nothing to do with that subject. |

Sorry, the previous thread pertained to the 'randomness of the dice conspiracy' That thread has not been closed down and can be found here: http://zooescape.com/forum-thread.pl?home=1&th=417 No one is rapping your knuckles but merely commenting on the absurdity of certain posts. |
