BBL Legacy Cup 2026 to open on March 12! Friends, I would like to invite the Top 16 players of our league to participate in the BBL Legacy Cup 2026! This is the second time we are going to have this tournament and I am looking forward to hosting it again! All matches in this cup will be held on the best-of-three basis, all played in the BG format only, similar to our regular tournaments. Since it’s a double elimination format, any player who lost one match will be able to continue in the lower bracket until they lose another match. The winners will continue to play in the top bracket until the final remaining players from each bracket meet in the final match to claim the BBL Legacy Cup championship. If the winner of the top bracket loses the final match to the winner of the lower bracket, this would be their first loss in the tournament. In this case, one extra “super-final” game will be played to determine the ultimate BBL Legacy Cup winner. BBL Regular Tournaments - UPDATE In order to accommodate different types of league events, we are moving to a quarterly schedule for the regular BBL tournaments. Therefore, our BBL-35 registration will be opened on April 12. More other league events besides the Legacy Cup are in the plans this year. Stay tuned! |
