topwop - AVOID THIS PLAYER!!!!!

I have 2 games live with topwop but he is refusing to make moves in the one he is losing by a large margin. Instead he is only making moves on the game he is winning.

I'd ask that all fair minded players avoid this DISHONEST individual as much as possible.

Thanks!
Peter

Everyone should be aware that this dishonest individual in now using my unwillingness to play him as a way to artificially bump up his ladder standings.

He has been told on a number of occasions that I will not play him due to his prior behavior however he continues to challenge me knowing that I will resign the game without play. He's done it three times today alone.

Again, I'd ask all fair minded players to think twice about playing this individual until his behavior improves.

Aren't there better ways to counteract that, such as setting your maximum ladder games or just making one move every 3 days until topwop gets the message?

im with peter.. people playing that way in the ladder deserve to be called out for it so others do not have to put up with it

This is one of the many reasons......

.....I retired from playing the ladder. The CT's are much more fun, competitive, and a whole lot less boring and tedious. Of course, you can always put people like this on your ignore list.

Another morning and another 2 ladder games started by this moron.

This is now harming my enjoyment of the site and reducing the amount of time I spend on it. It's only a few weeks ago that I paid for a years membership so I'm not at all happy at ZooEscapes lack of help with this harassment. I think I'll soon be at the stage of taking action to recover my money from ZE.

hate to offer this as a suggestion but set your max games to like 5 and just make sure that you always have more than 5 at a time.. this way you control your ladder challenges and people you would otherwise not want to play cant play you. this is what I was sadly reduced to after 2 specific players continually did the same to me knowing i had zero interest in playing them again and knowing full well that once i was beating them they would turn and play the stall game

Peter I am with dapharmer on this. Continually allowing this person to challenge you knowing you are going to resign is unfair on you and the rest of the players in the ladder.

You are playing a decent number of ladder matches so setting your maximum isn't going to affect anybody except topwop. Most people seem to have their maximums at 5 or 6 anyway. If you want, what you can then do is challenge everybody within 40 of you either above or below, who might otherwise not then be able to challenge you because of that, at least until topwop is out of range or been banned.

What sort of response have you been getting from ZE?

Cheers

Andy

Andy, Sadly I've had to reduce my ladder games down to five. The problem is that this will end up reducing the number of ladder games I play which very much reduces my enjoyment of the site.

I've sent a number of complaints to ZE but they have not answered any of them. Seems that they are happy to contact you when they want your money but not when you want help from them.
