Section FORMAT
* A team shall consist of 3 or 4 players. I think it should not be "or". Just 4.
** Еach of members of a "home" team challenging each of members of the "visiting" team to a 3-day, RATED, NO CUBE backgammon game.

Section SUBSTITUTIONS
Should a team's player withdraw from further competition or leave on holiday (vacation) for more than one week, he should decline the games in any match and inform his team's captain of his decision. Their captain have to attempt to recruit a new member within three days. If this attempt fail captain must to finish all missing games.

PROPOSE (based on BLOKHIN2)
1. Respect your opponents at all times
2. Play fast
* (no stalling)
* Set up an "Automatic Dice Rolls" - on.
(Settings->MY PREFERENCES->Automatic Dice Rolls->on(radio button))
There are predetermined situations, there is no point in waiting.
* for players with max 25 games, the time to release the free board is "not counted" for the delay.
3. Obey the rules of the tournament. In case of disagreements, please post in forum and the final decision will be made by the tournament organizers.

In the spirit of friendship, is it worth considering to make ends meet in the following way ?

Texas team: 3 players
Pakistan: 2 players, as laurakim is already member of USA3 team
Spain: 3 players.

May be these 8 players, could form two 4 players team ?

While ChWaqasAhmed is on a religious holiday, may be these 8 players might like to consider it for themselves in some quiet time whether this is a good idea and then decisions can be made when ChWaqasAhmed returns,

No decisions need to be made today.
And may be ChWaqasAhmed could let Yiannakos know, when he returns ?

This is just a suggestion, but could be a practical solution for having 16 teams of 4 players, which eventually is the higher goal

laurakim is playing for my team...I have already informed the host Yiannakos about it through PM that I had asked for their consent when tourney started and they acknowledged me that they would happily play in my team like last tourney NT6...

So i don't think there is any confusion there and I would be available anytime NT7 starts..And my holidays would not delay anything

We play as one person. My sis, Kim, lives in Hawaii and I, Laura live in Calif.

It's fun to see teams fighting for our "honor" (and dice!) Since we aren't that concerned which team we play for, playing for Texas or USA would reasonably be our first choice. If we did that, then maybe Pak could split 2 players between Texas and Spain, thus requiring only one more player to be recruited and giving 16 four person teams!
Just a suggestion.

And, yes, ChWaqas did ask us first.

I'm Ron from the Texas Team and I'm happy playing anywhere. I'm a total rookie with the Nations Tournament but am very flexible.

It looks as if the UK might be able to field three teams in NT7, bringing the total to 18.
If it stays at 18, we will divide them into three groups of six with the top two finishers of each group going through as well as the best two 3rd place teams.

put into these tournaments .... I have not played since my USA team WON 1st tournament be fun returning !

I agree with yiannakos on 18 teams. That sounds very fair with 2 extra teams (3th place finish) advancing.
But more teams would even be better
