Might want to post on T4 RULES for gammon and backgammon We have new players ... after review of T4 rules I did not see where Gammon OR Backgammon for points award was posted. Therefore "newbies" can read FYI 's and notes. Thank you for everyone hosting T4 =) |

Ref: page 6 posted by Tourney host Notes on Cube use: A regular victory is worth 1 point, a gammon is 2 points, and a backgammon is 3 points. Then you multiply that by whatever the cube is. 1, 2, 4 etc. If someone doubles you on the cube to 2 and you accept it, then you end up being backgammoned, you lose by 6 points and the match is over. |

Suggestion - date the w/l chart I noticed on T3 chart dated when the last updates took place would be a nice addition for T4 ... notice all the over "chart count" nice features to include . Thank you to all the "officials" for T4 ... well done =) |

Suggestion to encourage players to finish all their CT games by the deadline... How about requiring those who sign up for a CT but don't finish their games by the deadline to sit out the next CT? This rule would discourage people from essentially retiring from the CT once they realize they are not going to make the playoffs. It would also encourage everyone to abide by the rules they agreed to when they signed up. Finally, it would provide an accurate representation of the true final results. I ran this idea by another player and he suggested I post it. |
