Australasia2 members,

We have contacted lilwarrior of the Canada2 team. He will contact Prometheussss and, if she is unable or unwilling to play against you, she will be replaced by ValleyRiverGirl in accordance with the rules we have set forth regarding substitutions.

Bear this in mind in case you are challenged shortly by ValleyRiverGirl instead of prometheussss.

PS. Thanks for your patience!

Australasia2 members,

Prometheussss has upgraded to premium membership so you may all challenge away at her!

I see that greeksheik hasn't challenged any players even after I spoke to him...
I'll ask him today if he wants to be replaced on the USA3 squad.

Nation tournament

As usually i see this late, but who knows, there might come a day that i will be in time or someone sympatic will advise me about upcoming tournaments.

I would have been able to join Asia, Netherlands or Portugal, but at anyway there are not many players from there, except Jamesnchina.

Wish everyone a lot of fun and nice games

And of course compliments for the organization

Holland

Hi achilles57!
I had hoped to include a team from Holland as cheeselet had expressed some interest - but no one else did.
Hopefully, we'll have an orange machine in our second tournament (Lord willing).

Who invited this guy??? Seriously . . .?

(I jest, he's my father and an all-around good guy.)

Has challenged me to a 4 days per move game with the cube. My other games have been 3 days/no cube and I would prefer to stick to this as I don't see the point of playing matches with uneven rules. Can someone confirm what the rules are in this situation?
Thanks
Peter

Peter,
The rules state that games are normally 3-day challenge backgammon. If you want to play Acey-Deucey or use the doubling cube, you may do so ONLY after contacting your opponent and getting his/her approval to challenge them in that manner. A win is a win no matter what the cube.
