Zulu the Warrior King Apologies to Zulu, his 76.19% winning % after the round robin in TC#2 was also impressive. |

Time Limits As I process the results I was thinking about the issue of time limits. My idea is that at the proposed time limit in Aug look at who has completed the fewest games. Remove them and all their matches from the table, then relook at the new table and do the same for the next worst. At some stage all games will appear as complete. For example say I was to complete all but one game against blokhin2, and he turned out to being the player with the least number of completed games. Once all his games were removed I would show as having completed all games and would be safe. The only ones to be penalised would be the main offenders. There may need to be a judgement call at some stage as in the current situation with T2, Padajp could be removed eliminating 3 unfinished games and leaving 2 games with 4 different players which could mean all or none of those 4 could be removed. Different scenarios could produce interesting results. Just a thought. |

Common Sense My apologies Kid for breaking the rule about comments in the "Results" thread. The Kid's solution is one example of using common sense to solve this potential problem. The only thing I would add to this is an effort a couple weeks before the deadline to measure people's intents as to whether or not they planned on finishing all of their matches by the allotted time. Hopefully, this will also serve as a gentle kick in the rear to get going. I repeat "No one will be punished for the actions of someone else that is obviously not going along with the plan". Play on! |

good just a point...during last week also push those who are in the bottom of the table and have few games uncompleted... May b when a player who has no chance of making in top 8 could slow down purposefully...it will effect others also So its better to warn them earlier...i don't think any penalty(exclusion from next tourney) will b unjustified in these cases |

Omnipotent leader Thank you omnipotent leader... of course, we should have know that your infinite wisdom would keep us safe and moving in the fairest direction. And apologies for Nightking and myself for commenting in the wrong thread. Our minds must have been slowed by the "spirits" we consumed in the wee hours of the morning. Play on! |

Time limits KK/Abriscoe, Thanks for the confirmation on how things will be handled. Sounds very fair. As things solidify, you might consider spelling out your final policy on KK's website (under Format?) so that everyone has the opportunity to update themselves (knowing how both of you operate, you have probably already thought of this). It should be incumbent on us as players to make ourselves fully aware of the rules. I think most if not all of the players in this T will recognize that defining the time limit will have to be an emerging process. I anticipate everyone will fully support whatever you decide. If all else fails we can always use the KK's voting technique. But again what you both describe seems very equitable and fair. Thanks again for all you are doing for all of us who are enjoying your T!!! Such great, friendly competition. |

Omnipotence Damn, this Omnipotence is nice! I had no idea! Which proves I must not have been omnipotent in the first place. Sigh.. Exhibit #2 in proving I am not all-knowing, I hadn't thought of your good idea Uahskr to add that policy to the format. KumaraKid, would you mind adding YOUR idea about dropping people 1 x 1 from the bottom after the deadline to the format/rules? It will be interesting to see where we are as far as unfinished games at the deadline. From that info we can tweak the time frame for the next one. I daresay that most of you would agree though that we need a deadline, just look at TC#2 Round Robin STILL going on. Anybody got the odds on whether or not the Kid will hit 20 wins? |

Europe time zones! I have tried to play as much as possible but seems that less people moving during my evening, now close bedtime and then work in the day! I am the constant refresher beating the auto refresh bit worried as heading to the land of very little internet or phone signal at my parents on the weekend |
