It's interesting that only in one case the player with a lower rating emerged as a winner...

Pity i was not aware that the tournament started already.
In case there are more tournaments like this in the future could i get a notice by message because i am never looking in the forums, but these are the kinds of tournaments i like to participate because the games are played at a much quicker speed.

achilles57, yes, we started this tournament 2 weeks ago...
And we've sent invitations to many people at the time (I'd imagine you were on the list, sorry if not the case). One thing you can do though is to check the box "notify me when someone posts a reply" - this way you'll be notified whenever there's a new message in this thread - we'll be using it for upcoming tournaments as well.
