For about a second, I felt a little better after learning that the Kid got you 8-0 -- he only beat me 7-0. But then I remembered that you beat me 6-0! Crazy game.

I am still in the middle of my match with the Kid (keep wanting to call him Billy!). What I meant is the he has won his first 8 matches against other people.

chwaqasahmed has me in big trouble. I'm down 4 -0 and haven't even looked close in any game and there are plenty of other matches that are not looking too good from my perspective.

Achilles, Just want to remind you to make sure you post all of your results in the TC#3 Results thread, the other thread. Makes it easier for Kumara Kid to keep track of them all.

Thanks again Kid for the Scorekeeping, the Website, the Design Work, etc. Everything looks great! That first wave of results must have been a chore. And you guys know he is doing all of that while still running TC#2 and tracking scores for other tournaments as well.

has it been decided what the cutoff date will be for completing all of our matches? The reason I ask is I am going on vacation in early August and I would like to finish as many of my matches as I can before then. Thanks to you and the KK for all you are doing for us!

uahskr not confirm but i think 18th august was the cutoff date for 1st round matches...

Chwaq is correct, anyone with matches left on 8/19 is out along with all of their results. Uahskr, you are sitting pretty though, in 3rd place with just 6 matches left! Not bad for the first week. Remember, we still have another 4 weeks.

Matter of fact, Kudos to all of you for a really good first week! Very well behaved, very competitive tournament so far, and the Kid has to have a shot at reaching the Tournament of Champions Hall of Fame as the first member based on his winning percentage in this round robin so far.. 88%!

0 issues to date, which speaks volumes overall about the group. I had a feeling it would be this way after TC#2. Keep it up.

Please check your games again to make sure every round robin match has at least been started. I think a couple of you still need to change your challenge criteria, and a couple of people were on vacation last week.
