Determining placement for top 8 players

Just wanted to mention this - we need to determine the rules of ranking the players in case two or more players are sharing say the 8th place that allows them to go to playoff round.
E.g. player A and player B both have 14 wins and 11 losses and are placed 8-9 - so which one goes to the playoffs?
I propose the following - if it's 2 players sharing one place: the winner of their match will be placed higher; if it's 3 players sharing one place: the one with more wins in the matches between these players will be placed higher; if that number is even - additional 1-game match should be played.

Happy that you are thinking ahead with me

I already thought of that and posted my proposal in the rules- (which we can adjust if an agreement is made to do so)

what i had proposed was that IF A TIE EXISTED the player with the highest percentage of WINS in his personal profile would advance--

I want to avoid having a playoff - or addign additional games-

going back and counting all the wins played in this particula format would be a hightmare and quite honestly impossible-

so I thought a real simple number that is already part of your ZOOESCAPE profile is percentage of wins- this evens the field - would nt matter if you had 4000 games or 40000 games the percentage of wins is easily compared amoungst all and is a measure of a zooescape performance -

would like to hear more and other input and feedback check out the rules - I added that a few days ago

DEAD CUBES

we had another violation of this rule

be careful-

NOW that we discussed it and it should be understood it will not be allowed-

any questions on that rule?

I was contemplating throwing out the games with DEAD CUBE violations ** NO WINNER for that particular match--

been TWO that I know of- and I believe that there may be more-- that I have not seen

Please no more DEAD CUBE violations - besides its just not cool..

thanks

I like this definition:

In match play, the cube is said to be dead when the player owning the cube has no reason to double because they can win the match with the cube at its current level.
