I like the tournament idea, but it again is going to get quite messy with some players being much slower than others. What if we keep groups at max 8 participants (so in Bob's example) we'll have 2 groups?
I'm not a big fan of the cube - it involves even higher element of chance, but I'm good with
using gammon/backgammon bonus points.

Quite enjoying the simple 3 game format, but would go for 5. Agreed, a little longer than anticipated, but hey, first time round. Keep up the pace, say I.

Abe and Kev can you not start all 3 games at the same time? Just wondering! I would be keen for Bob's type of tourney. Guess we can opt in/out to any format we don't like so may as well try different options.

I tried to challenge kev Howlett to a second game when I first started and the site wouldn't let me challenge him to another game. I just tried again & it let me. Sorry.

It will not let you while the first challenge has not been accepted. Once the game has started then you can challenge again. I only worked it out by chance when trying to start second game in tournament but I knew I had played more than one game at a time against some opposition.
