Enjoying theTourney? I don't know about you guys, but I had a great time playing today. I think we should start a new tournament every couple of weeks now. Just kidding Kid! People just playing the ladder don't know what they are missing, because there it is just go gammon, go. Seriously, I love the involvement of the cube as a strategy. My best match today was a loss to uahskr, where I had him down 4-0 and he came back to beat me using the cube. Lot of fun. Kept having to tell myself to slow down and focus on the cube every move. That's my lesson of the day for the rookies (on the TC Tourneys. lol). I got every one of my matches started but 1, so that is good for the first day. For those of you that had a rough start, hang in there. I had a horrible start to TC#2, and ended up tied for 2nd after round robin play. By the way, I won a game (game, not match) finally against lilwarrior! That is a personal first for me, so for me the tournament is over. Just kidding! |

AbeFromann One last addition to TC#3! Abe Lincoln sent me a last minute request to join our fine Tournament and who am I to deny one of the greatest leaders in American history? Seriously, AbeFromann is a current participant in TC#2 that is still in the running for the playoffs. His request was dated 7/13/13, so I am accepting him.
