And GO!!! Some of us (me) crossed the line early. Why wait? Good luck to all. Chwaqasahmed is the one person that was the most exited about this tournament from way back when and he has been waiting patiently. He is only one that I can tell that is not a ZE member yet and is not yet able to do so. However, I didn't want that to be a barrier, so I asking all of you to make sure that you challenge him. He has resigned from the ladder and is trying to clear out his board to make way for all of us. Chwaqasahme, no serial numbers, just 25 players in a round robin. The last player to join is Capricorn17. She is the only one left to add to the chart. Already finding a couple of people need to adjust their settings, or else some players won't be able to challenge you. Have a good time! |

Thanks abricose I have retired from ladders and not gonna start any personal challenge game from now on wards just to accommodate Champ Tourney games As abricose has mentioned I can't initiate games with doubling cube so u guys hv to challenge me urself...(i hv cleared my challenge criteria) few of my previous games are still active and I m trying my best to complete them ASAP... But if on time they r not completed then i will resign my games at 00:00 GMT on 13th July.... have fun and a great tournament ahead.... best of luck to all |

Points Lesson We have some new people, so here is a quick lesson on points and the cube. A regular victory is worth 1 pt, a gammon is 2 pts., and a backgammon is 3 pts. Then you multiply that by whatever the cube is. 1, 2, 4 etc. So let's say someone doubles you on the cube to 2 and you accept it, then you end up being backgammoned, you lose by 6 pts and the match is over. The lesson is knowing when to cut your losses and when to take a chance. Let's say you are ahead and have a chance to gammon someone, don't offer the cube as they will decline and you will only win by 1 pt when you might have won by 2. |

Dadooo Challenge as many players as possible at the same time, but only play one game against each opponent. With the doubling cube and Gammons etc in play each game could be worth more than one point. Do not play more than one game at a time against the same opponent. Hope this clarifies. |
