Hi all and happy Star Wars day  
@leoton it's a great idea to have this extra tournament. I wish we could include more players but I totally understand why the bracket is limited to 16 players.
Even so I think "best of 3" is the better option. If all 3 games start simultaneously, there should not be much delay finishing all 3.

Congratulations to Lilwarrior on his second BBL trophy! The final match was a lot of fun and everything got decided literally on the last move. Congrats again!

Definitely best of 3.

We might want to consider using cube games at some point. Cubing is a huge strategy point that adds excitement and skill. We could do first to 3, and they might even go faster.

Looks like Best of Three is a consensus. Cubing definitely provides additional excitement, but non-members cannot start a cube game in ZE… so unfortunately it won’t work.

We will start the first Cup as soon as BBL-30 is over and all results are captured. Hope our next tournament will be much faster than the one we just finished!

Great idea, always enjoy these matches, especially with those who genuinely play fast.. Just questioning the Summer Comp using the overall leaderboard. Latecomers to the BBL will struggle to ever catch up and make that comp. Maybe top 16 of last 12 months for both or something similar. Just trying to improve my chances of getting into the comps.

I actually like the idea to have the summer cup on a "best of all time" leaderboard and the End-of-year cup to have "the best from the past year" format.

Looks like the Double-Elimination Cup idea got a lot of positive feedback, thank you!

I would like to get your vote on two options below, pertaining to a potential situation when the winner of the top bracket loses the final match to the winner of the lower bracket:

Option A: Whoever wins the final match is the Cup Winner, plain and simple. The final match is called final for a reason, the tournament ends there.

Option B: This is a Double-Elimination tournament, meaning you are only out when you lost two matches! If a winner of the top bracket loses, it would just be their first loss in the Cup and they are entitled to an extra match, which will determine who gets eliminated with two match losses. The remaining player will win the Cup. If you like this option, please indicate whether you want this extra match to be again in the best of three format or a sudden-death, single game only.

Please vote one of two options here and provide your reasoning. I’ll go with majority - but please respond soon enough that I had enough time to could adjust if necessary.

Option 2, with the extra final "final" the best of 3 if needed. There should be some advantage to the player who hasn't lost any games to get to the final. The player who makes it to the final by using their second life should be at some disadvantage.
