I certainly don't think we need to wait for T #2 to finish. I was thinking of having a 9-16 play-off as well as 1-8 for this tournament so those players will have a little more left in this tourney and I'm happy to manage/update both but Abriscoe is right, that only really involves one more match at a time for each player.

I'm sure we all know players that could be invited that are past ladder toppers or more prestigious, past tournament winners.

I can think of Cuisineworks, atnacondon and Cailleach

I think we need to get a good number to invite and once they have been given time to opt in we get things going. At this stage I'm quite happy to update tournament results for the next tournament and someone else can decide on format and communicate the info to players etc but if someone else wants to utilise the results website and update results that is cool too but I don't mind doing it at the moment although I realise I missed the busier period when results were flowing in.

pz consider also ZE's official tourney winners and who have got the TOP rank.
Waiting for next tourney and it will b very nice if we could gather few more active players who hv been champions earlier

I think it was R4 who suggested inviting any player who has won a ZE trophy (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) in addition to those who have achieved #1 on the BG ladder. That seems to be in line with what chwaqasahmed is suggesting which I fully support. Hopefully, R4 will play in TC #3. It is great that Peter Hill has volunteered to run CT #3. Looking forward to it. Kumara, you and dapharmer continue to do a super job. Can't thank you enough for your efforts on TC #2!

5 players are guaranteed to make the top 8. Another 7 have a mathematical chance of making them, albeit a very slim chance for one or two. Update to come.

The players have voted so for this tournament all of sideshowbob2012's and r4zzm4t4zz's results have been deleted.
