Oh maidann, what were you thinking? Your play with the 61 at turn 54!!!!!!!!  

You already made a slight mistake with the 54 at turn 48. There, 12/7 6/2 was the better move. Think of rolling 66 or 55 next time, these can then be played safely while after your move you would be forced to leave a shot off the bar - these things do happen and you should play accordingly because it hurts when they do.

However, you escaped that one. So when you get to turn 54 the only thing you should be thinking about is leaving an even number of checkers on the highest point, so 3/off 3/2 is the ONLY play you should make here. You leave a 4:4:2 split and much smaller chance of even leaving a single shot at the end. Leaving 7 checkers on the board you are very likely to leave one on its own. After the 16 you played with any 34, 35, 36, 45, 46, 56 next roll you leave a shot straight away, one third of the time in fact. So you even escaped there too, for the moment!

Yes you got stung, but you escaped twice, and I'm afraid this was yours to lose.

I don't think much of Queentica's use of the AD there either. Better use 44s to make the 6 point rather than the 2 point, as then the 3 spare checkers on the 3 and 4 points will be more useful.
