Well it looks like we might have our theme for this Tournament. Eastern Hemisphere vs Western Hemisphere (yes I realize some countries are considered to be in both hemispheres but I am going with the cartographers on this one), Old World vs. New! We have 22 people signed up with 4 days left before the Tournament starts on Saturday. 11 New World vs. 11 Old World. If everyone can get just one more friend to join, we can have 2 separate brackets of 22 (with similar time zones to hopefully speed things up). Top 8 from each bracket make the playoffs, which means we will have 16 players in the money.

The Countries represented so far include: Spain, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Pakistan, Poland, The Netherlands, The U.K., The E.U. (I know, I know), The U.S.A., and of course, Oh Canada! Also, so far we have 7 new players that didn't play in TC#2.

We are good to go right now with just 1 bracket, but it might be a nice set up with the 2, so I am asking all of you to get one more friendly comrade from your part of the world. You can do it!

Zulu, I have some competition for you to start worrying about! The average of the best overall rating of the 22 so far is 1854, which is really good for a group this size. The average of the best score we have each beaten is 1950, which is outstanding. Our person with the top individual overall rating is the one that didn't care about ratings, lilwarrior at 1960 (amazing). Oldman69 has the highest winning % at 56.78% (unbelievable).Uahskr and TanyaH have the highest opponents beaten at 1996 and 1995. If you can tell I like #'s, you may be right. Hopefully I didn't overlook anyone, it is 4 am.

My favorite for this tournament is Josiecat, gave her all of my secrets, then I realized she has beaten me 56% of the time, and said wait a minute! My only goal personally for this tournament is to finally get 1 victory against lilwarrior. Just 1 game against him and I'll be a happy man.

especially since we are all positive friendly people.  
Since I didn't feature in the awards can I (maybe) claim to have beaten our top ranked player more times than anyone else in this tourney, at 51 times. Unfortunately for me we have played way more than 100 games.

Honestly, I could go either way on this one. Love the idea of playing everyone, just don't want to sit around and wait like we are doing in TC2. That is why I liked the idea of trying to set up 2 separate brackets with similar time zones. We are going to have a drop dead time limit this time, so maybe that issue will resolve itself. One issue I can see coming up is some people may feel that 1 bracket is stronger competition than the other, which would lend itself to just having 1 bracket. If we do go with just 1 bracket, any suggestions on how many players we take? The Kid suggested to me around 24, or a little more. Right now, we are at 23 with Cailleach joining up after I did the stats. Incidentally, she has beaten someone at 2018!

Since I am not a benevolent dictator, let's get some feedback on this!
