well it looks like if pad wins both his games he may displace all the 8th place tie people... but if he beats whisk and loses to abe.... 5 way tie.. sheesh

5 way tie for eighth looks a possibility. One key game to go. It is a patience game now. Update on Padajp vrs Whisk Padajp 3 Whisk 2 so could still be a while away.

When I took over the tourney I decided to go on the lenient side given it was the first big tourney we had played and not have a time limit. There is a down side to that policy, but I still believe some matches will take a long time regardless of players intentions. The Abe v Pad match has just finished in T2 but they finished their T3 match a while ago. We will also get some matches where using the cube will not suit either player.
