Over the years we have played many tournaments but never it’s been as bad as this time when we faced Iran 3 team. During the last 10 days I was trying to solicit a game from Siamak 4. I can’t challenge him since he’s always playing maximum number of games, and I sent him numerous messages asking him to challenge me (latest ones were sent on October21, 25, and 28) to which he simply does not respond. He’s online every day so it’s not a vacation issue. The purpose of these tournaments is to have fun and play friendly games so I don’t know what Iran 3 folks are trying to achieve here. Maybe their captain would intervene?

I find it rather worrying if a team behaves that mindless and is not only upsetting other players but is boycotting the flow of the tournament.
We all know that the NT's were once set up, because we all wanted a tournament where players committed to play fast, because we all were fed up with ZE tournaments which can last longer than a year !
The NT's are the logical result of an international group of like-minded players from all over the world, who respect each other and respect the beauty of BG. .

I find it unacceptable that Tamaspack timed out Blokhin2 twice, that Siamak4 has not reacted to more than 4 messages and that their captain lyon1337 seem to have great difficulty to keep his team together, especially as he puts on his personal page : "I love playing BG with everyone; there is only one condition to play with me, it must be very fast".

As a captain, I find it is my first task to keep my team going. I hope that the players of the Iranian3 team will finally start sticking to their commitment, which is to be an active and friendly player at a NT.

Fortunately a situation like this has never occurred at the five NT's before and I wonder what the opinions of the other players are, whether this unsportsmanlike behaviour is still acceptable or whether at the next NT players should be excluded who continuously boycott the flow of the tournament.

Iran3 players, I truly wish you the very best to sort out your problems.and at least communicate to the CIS team, what is going on with you
