Timeouts In the past, I remember games automatically being postponed if there was going to be mass losses through timeouts. I'd like to see something like a 'Time bank' that we can dip into if games are about to timeout. Maybe starting at 10 days. If my games timeout, the clock starts ticking down from 10 days to 0:00:00. Once it hits zero within a 1 year time period, then games are lost. I've somehow managed to timeout 3 times in the past 6 months, and all by only a couple of hours, causing me to lose over 100 games and force me to retire from the ladders. While I enjoy the challenge of starting at the bottom of the ladders again, I've probably lost over 100pts from my rating Plus I have to wait for 40 games to complete before I can start more ladder games. If not the 'time bank' option, maybe something else so I can get back into the ladder more quickly. |

Timeouts I know on some of the servers that I play Go and Chess on, that they do automatic postponement as a bonus for subscribers. In others words, if a subscriber's game times out, rather than forfeiting the time, it automatically switches to holiday mode and starts using vacation days, I really would like to have this as an added service for subscribers here too. |

Top Rated Players I have a suggestion for the Top Rated Players page; namely that each list feature a separate "Highest percentage" column (highest win percentage, highest backgammon percentage etc). Currently the Top Rated lists favour players who have played the most games, and I think it would be interesting to see who has the best percentage stats. In order to make it an accurate reflection of ability I would suggest that a minimum number of games must be played before being eligible, for example 50 or 100. |

Support Why not actually provide support other than just an automated response - which is never followed up on anyway? |

Plakoto / tapa I was wondering if it is possible to add my favourite backgammon game plakoto (known in Bulgaria as tapa) to the other three existing games. It is played similarly to acey-deucey without the AD being wild. Pieces are not knocked off but covered up and are captive until the top piece is moved. Traditionally the board is held the opposite way of acey-deucey with your pieces closest to you. Many thanks. Yiannakos |

Medley Tournament How about a tournament where each player plays 1 game of backgammon, 1 of nackgammon and 1 of acey deucey against each other in the group? Other than that it could be in the same format as other tournaments. |

Re: ZE i MIA Pokhra, Not for a very, very long time during which I asked them several questions. Looks like we are left all alone on this planet. May the Force be with us! |

TOURNAMENTS - ACEY-DEUCEY - SUGGESTION 1. Finished tournaments show ONLY 1st & 2nd place NEVER 3rd vs. other tournaments for backgammon and nackgammon show 1st, 2nd and 3rd. 2. I find be unfair for Acey Deucey for all players compete with only 1st & 2nd. Acey Deucey in my mind is a difficult game to play should have all 3 place awarded trophies. NOTE: Like to hear other comments about trophies for all 3 places vs. 1st & 2nd. |
