I hope next time they will count Gammon and Backgammon !
Against USA 1, I had 2 Gammon and 1 backgamon.

So if I play according to the backgammon rules, Team Canada # 1 should have 4 points more.

I will let the Captain, anniewan, eagle-tee and lilwarrior read the format and after that, I will ask Kumarakid to make a poll about it.

Matches to 1 are luck bombs. At least a match to 3. I understand the quickness needed, but 3 games against 3 players can get lopsided pretty easily.

.....are mainly luck of the dice. I think I am 10-2 so far in N2 and, believe me, a lot of it has been luck. Also, if we are going to start counting gammons and BG's, let's play with the cube. If we play more games with the cube in a match to 3 or 5, at least skill would have a fighting chance to enter the equation. I realize that doing all or part of this would mean a lot more work for the organizers and scorekeepers so I'll be happy with whatever is decided. Just my 2 cents.

Sorry, Haven't been following the forum recently and am a bit lost. How do I know who I'm meant to be challenging or challenging me? I don't think I've played Wallaby from Australia but am now being challenged by another country. Sorry to be such a disaster but I've been busy.

I thought the Nations Tournament concept
1. Fast play
2. One game played against each team member of the other country
3. Gammon & Backgammons did not count
4. Now we are talking about cube 3 - 5 games ... appears we are back in the standard unofficial ZE Tournaments we played for T1 - T5. Many players possibly could opt out based on length of time to complete these tournaments
5. Recommend keep standard rules
6. TIE BREAKERS have choice of one player from a team play other team member for one game only .

Keep it simple

Just my thoughts / recommendations/ suggestions.
