oh men are equal in that for sure...

ive seen more of my male friends be drama queens then the females... we just pretend we're not when in front of the ladies... until you marry us and then we're free to be just as dramatic as you

Dealing with Tournament Withdrawls

Wanting opinions here of how to handle resignations form tournament.

My thoughts are that all games involving these players are removed from the table. This will affect players differently depending on whether they won or lost against those resigning players such as SideShowBob2012 and R4zzm4t4zz.

If people are happy with that policy I'll do it in a day or two. I am still hopeful that R4zz has a change of heart and returns as he put a lot into establishing this second tournament and I feel most would welcome his return.

kumara..

the options are really either that or every one of their remaining games is factored as a win for the opponent....

im actually thinking second may be fairer as a person dropping out is basically resigning their games and ceding victory to everyone else they may still be playing.... if they had only played a handful of games it would be one thing to remove them all... but r4zz got all of his done, so removing would impact everyone unevenly ..

Resigning games

Agree with dapharmer. The games that have been played are already a matter of record and should count. And the games not yet played by a resigning player are technically forfeited and should be counted as wins for the players who have yet to play persons who resign. That seems fair and I think most sporting events would follow that model. I also hope R4 has a change of heart.
