Rules and Code of Conduct requirements “ Players who fail to start any games by the Official Tournament Start Date, submit results within 24 hours from the completion of the game they won, or cause noticeable delays without any written notice to the host of the tournament will be issued a warning ("yellow card"), captured in the Results page. Players who receive more than 3 warnings during a current tournament shall miss the next tournament. Those receiving more than 5 warnings during a current tournament shall be disqualified from that tournament and their results will be stricken out.” Yellow cards would be issued for each game not started by June 1. Per above verbiage, any player who failed to meet the requirements will be a subject to missing the next tournament or disqualification from the current one. Today is the last day to meet these requirements and this is a player’s responsibility to abide by the league rules and code of conduct… |

@lolwarrior Hi Lolwarrior, BBL-24 has quite a few basic ZE members who have been handling this 25-game limit and tournament participation pretty well for a couple of dozen tournaments. We all know about the 25 game limit and plan accordingly - if something happens, we communicate. Also, before submitting a request to participate in every tournament, each player acknowledges the rules and code of conduct and needs to abide by it. As I host, I sent you a courtesy message on May 27 with a reminder to start all your group games by June 1 to avoid disqualification. Unfortunately I haven’t received any response back and since you haven’t started a majority of your games by the deadline, by rules I had to disqualify you from this tournament. Best, Leoton (host) |

credit or debit card lolwarrior - If you have one, you can use a credit or bank debit card for membership on ZooEscape. That's how I (and I imagine many others) do it. Good luck - I hope to see you in a future tournament! Howler |

suggestion for next tournament Here's a proposal: each unfinished game by the end of the 7th day of the month (June 7 for example) results in a yellow card with all the usual implications. Thoughts? |

@Blokhin2 Thank you the suggestion, I am all for figuring out how to speed up our games even more! The potential issue I am seeing with this proposal is that it implies that both participants would end up with a yellow card while it is very possible that there is only one player is stalling. It might be hard to determine who is at fault of the delay… But I am very interested in different ideas, please keep them coming! |

@leoton That's the beauty of it: no need to determine who's at fault. Getting one or even two yellow cards is not a problem, it's 3+ YC that gets one DQ from the next tournament. This change can only impact the really slow player. |
