Knockout round The eight teams that qualify will be drawn in quarterfinal pairs with the winners advancing to the semi-finals (as in tennis or the Champions' League). There are two ways we can make the quarterfinal draw: 1. Put all 1st place teams in one pot and all 2nd place teams in another so 1st place teams do not play each other at this stage. 2. Throw all teams together and draw randomly from the pot. I'm OK either way |
