Ideally, we want 16 teams in the Nations tournament however, as we all know, the ideal very rarely happens in life...
So far, we have 15 complete teams with only today and tomorrow for registration.
Right now it looks as if the USA will make a 4th team and Iran will make a 3rd team while Australia fails to make a 2nd. That will give us 17 teams.

Should we end up with16 teams, there will be 4 groups of 4 with top-finishers going to a final group - like last year.

Should we end up with 17 or 18 teams, we will give byes to last year's top teams (USA1 and possibly Australia), play out a 4-group tournament and complete an 8-team final round with the byes, the group winners and the top 2-3 2nd place finishers. If this is the case, the final round will be a knockout competition as group play would take too long with 8 teams.

Please do not worry about this, at the end of Friday, when registration is complete, I will give details and specifics.

If we have 15 teams already then lets make 16th team "Rest of the World"

and recruit 4 players in that

Couple of tries has been failed to make AUS 2
While 4 teams from USA will be too much

So why don't we make a rest of the World team?

means we need 3 players to even all 16 teams

Yes, so far 61 players have registered but we have two days to go - today and tomorrow.
At this stage it is impossible to contain the Americans in three teams so we will have a USA4.
Face it: nearly half of zooescape members are Americans. I will keep them in separate groups to keep the international flavour in competition.
It also looks like Iran will spill over into a 3rd team which may mean that Arash will move off the PAK-Iran team - unless yet another Iranian joins. This may be good as he speaks excellent English and could serve well as a captain.

We must try to accommodate the players' wishes rather than suit a particular format. After all, if the foot does not match the shoe, it is the shoe that gets changed not the foot!

I have not forced any player to switch his/her team against their will neither i appreciate that...  


I was just talking about possibilities... USA has 14 players
1 of them "homerpc" is OK with any team...all we have to do is to ask 1 USA player to switch to Rest of the world team where an extra Irani player is already present along with homerpc

possibility of Team Greece now looks dim as AJ has joined UK and pulling out yiannakos & Sterlad will not solve the problem.


Anyhow if u want to constitute 4th USA team...I hv no problems
But pz DRAWS should not be manual...if two same country teams lie within 1 group late it be...


And on the last if anybody thinks players drop from sky to join our Tourneys..My dear brothers and sister then he/she is wrong
A lot of the work and time has been spent to gather so much players

If we need to add a player to USA #1 defending out title make it 5 players in lieu of 4 ... we would feel honored to have homerpc on our team .

It is easier to move teams to 5 players in lieu of 4 players ? Just a thought .
