Final score actually g 10 z_w 2, due to a final game backgammon. Plenty of twists and turns there, and more needle in this all UK clash than an extreme knitting convention...   Very enjoyable match.

Many kudos to Abriscoe for a great match, and simply making it to the final. There should be a posting for at least second place in our records.

Way to go anyone who administered it.

11-6. Great match! I went up a quick 8-0. Seemed like every roll I needed, I got. Abriscoe came back and won 3 in a row. 1 pt 1 pt 4 point (cube 2 gammon) That had me sweating, It was 8-6. Then I won one game by offering the cube. Abriscoe thought he would accept the cube in the last game, in which he was behind. He didn't want to get to Crawford.

Yahoo! Great tournament. My first after missing CT#1. This was the 'Drama tournament', CT#2. Looks like we're leaving that legacy behind (mostly). Let's keep the fun greater than anything else.

Keep them coming! Fun stuff - feels like one of those Mudder Runs, where you run up and down hill through the bush, and every few miles, there's this muddy, exhausting challenge. If you fail, you do 20 burpees, then keep going.

I wouldn't really know - I have a friend who does them. But if I did, it would be like winning one of those!
