The official date was 15th August but as 32 players registered earlier so we are starting it now.. Deadlines(1 week) will be counted from 15th, so u guys will hv one and half day extra now to finish ur Round 1 Matches...
This Tourney's registration was open for more than 1 month, but we were still missing 3 players,So I sent few invitations yesterday and 5 extra players joined, As i announced earlier it was 1st come 1st serve so they were misses. I am sorry for them,sent them individual msgs also that we could not accommodate them due to the format. I hope every1 will join tourneys on time in future.. There are 2 new RULES introduced now for all our World BG Championships.

1..Start ur all matches within 2 days (in current tourney it will be 17th Aug).
If u hv game limit issue we understand it and we will relax u, but remember when u hv free space 1st priority is to start ur tourney games..If u face any problem pz report it in the forum or to the host so that it can help u later.
2.. There was an issue regarding un-rated games, we started a poll but did not get the response from u guys so from now onwards when there is a difference of more than 100(3.61 / -6.39 I hope this equation explains itself why we need to change it) ranking points, then players can opt out any of the options.

Pz always keeps in mind these tourneys are just for fun purpose, so don't make them such a big deal to affect u, We are not ZE officials so our hands are bound to facilitate players automatically. Points come and go, don't worry about them. We should respect the opinion of both parties(high and low ranked players) and I tried to accommodate both.

(i) If both players AGREE on something they can play rated/un-rated games no matter what is the rating.
(ii) Incase both don't agree. If High ranked player wants to play un-rated games, then his decision will be final(Both will play un-rated games)
But if he wants to play Rated games, then Lower ranked player's decision will be final to play Rated games.If he denies, then high ranked player has to play un-rated games.

In my understanding 1st option will benefit high ranked players to not lose many points and 2nd option will benefit lower ranked players to protect their points.

Moreover we always welcome any feedback, Please let us know if u wanna improve something. Thanks

unless i miss read the vote on rated games, what few there was. Also the 10 comments which were made early when the voting wasnt working and could only make a comment. The results were over welming in favor of NO unrated games. So why do we now have them? I for one wont play a unrated game I will go for the 16cube or not play.

Before voting it was mentioned that we need minimum 20 votes which we did not get.
Anyhow I hope every1 will keep playing like we did in last 6 tourneys and this rule will be used minimum...There was nothing on this issue written in the rules so i just filled up that hole...
If my memory is serving right then there are only 3 high ranked players who play in our Tourneys, 1 of them has no issue with ratings and other two play happily cube 16/8 games. So I reckon it will not be a big issue


My personal intentions is also to play RATED games...this rule has to be written down so i did,pz don't worry about it and play as normal as we used to play.


I just got another idea that if both players agree on rated/un-rated games then we can reduce VICTORY margin also...Just play a single game or Best of 3 and decide winner?
how does it sounds?
