It is a shame to see R4zz get upset and I know the amount of work he put into this was huge. Although I am not making the final, I am keen to see this tourney and others continue and will happily recreate a website for results etc.

It is designed to be a fun gathering of good backgammon players. I printed the results page yesterday so hoefully will be able to reinstate it. Will keep you all posted. It may take a little while but I will do it.

im going to msg you my email address. if you have a snapshot send me what you have and i'll try to throw something together in an excel file that we can use to monitor it more easily (i'll move it to google docs for easier sharing) .. Rules hopefully we have something saved for as well.

it's a real shame that it had to go this far and i dont want to see r4zz or any other player lose out on the hard work everyone put in playing this far because of it. or on any future tourneys that may have come from it. we had a good thing going here and there are far better ways to deal with situations like this that arise.

my schedule is a bit too erratic to take on the website full time myself or anything, but im a number crunching specialist so i can at least help out keeping things organized as best as possible (or at least as good as has been provided by r4zz).

Due to the recent issues I am in the process of creating a new website at the following

Just an indication of what it looks like at this stage.

This is a work in progress and once I get a more accurate copy of the results I'll update it and tidy it up.

I am thick skinned so welcome any feedback just take into consideration I'm still working out what I can do on this website provider for free.
