...force be! They will be dependent on whether you do your next move in a line of forced moves. |

The subject line is too short. It must be at least 4 characters If it is a forced move how can I not make it? Starting to wish I never said anything now. You made a suggestion, I agreed with it outlining the reason why I agreed with it and you are still arguing with me. |

Arguiing! What's wrong with that, when I don't completely feel you're in line with my reasoning? |

really can't be bothered... So I am right but for the wrong reasons. You posted you want players to see the start of the forced moves and click through them to get to the current board position when they log on. (And you didn't give any reasoning). Yes I agree. Forget everything else I said as it is irrelevant to the original point. If you want a thread about people having forced moves turned on or off you can start that too. |

Origionally I didn't want; I asked. Not wrong; other. You don't have to be bitchy about it. . |

Hey Whitedice re-first post You asked: Would it make sense to make players have to click through them, before they get to the position where it's their roll, when players log in? Originally I had forced moves turned off. I didn't like the idea. Then after a few games I felt like I was 1. holding the other player up and 2. didn't see the point either especially when I couldn't make any moves and 3. began to unenjoy (is there such a word lol) games from other players with forced moves turned off. I even contributed to a post when I first joined saying I didn't like forced moves. Now, I really like them. Your suggestion has some merit but I find that sometimes I'll flick through the game when it has 'moved on' and other times I can't be bothered. So, if I was made to do it I don't think I'd like it but that's my preference. We'd probably have to be given the option to do that. |

Hello Dragonia Right. And yes, the option isn't (yet) available. No biggie. |

Forced moves with all spots blocked Its frustrating to have to roll when you have a piece on the bar and your opponent has all six spots blocked. When there's no chance of getting on, can there be an option to turn forced rolls on? I understand that the board may look dramatically different by the time I can get on, but at least I won't have to sit through the "agony" of rolling when I know I can't get on. |

Please, please........... I wholeheartedly agree with Pokhra. Please give us the option to have enforced moves on cube games, as we do in normal games. It's so frustrating to have to roll when there's no possibility of getting on. |

Forced moves with all spots blocked Cailleach (and others), its not an issue of having forced moves in cube games. Its a matter of having a piece on the bar and trying to bear on when all six of your opponent's spots are blocked. TECHNICALLY, your move isn't forced as you do have the OPTION to offer the cube. That's where the hangup currently is. My recommendation is to add another option to the settings page under Automatic Dice Rolls: Automatic Dice Rolls (automatically roll the dice whenever possible) Off On (do not offer the cube with a piece on the bar and all six spots blocked) Off On Or something to that effect. Anyone else have a thought? Does anyone even look at the forum anymore since its been relegated to the bottom of the site in small print? |
