And ...

I love Stewie's tournament rules!!

I only have one query, if you get to 4-4 and you've already done the Crawford Rule, can you double the cube?

Josiecat

I believe that if it was 4 all, there would be a dead cube, either player could win without using the cube so the doubling cube should not be in play. I'm pretty sure that's the way it would work.

TC #3

Thanks Guys and Gals for your quick responses and kind words! Let me first of all say thanks to Kumara Kid for all of his hard work and steady hand in keeping us on track in TC #2! I had a great time with TC #2 and especially enjoyed the doubling cube.

Thanks to him also for helping with our next great venture. We are already almost halfway there on this forum and people I have heard from privately to where the Kid suggested with his chart and with slow play that we end up and that was around 25-30 players. Please invite the kind of players that you know we are looking for to sign up on the new forum.

You guys are my core group and I may use most of you to make sure you get all of your games started on the very first day of the tournament. I noticed in TC #2 that some matches hadn't started even weeks into the tournament, so maybe this will help speed things along.

Along that line, I am asking for input here from you guys on the best way to handle slow play, Final drop dead date, certain number of matches per week, you name it, I am open ears!

Also, even though you have already posted here, if you guys wouldn't mind posting again on the new TC#3 Sign Up Forum for all to see along with your individual qualifications, whether if be A, B, or C or all of the above. I would greatly appreciate it.

Game On!

Knock-out rounds start

Tourney 2 Knock-out Stage

Due to a 4 way tie for eighth place and no easy way to separate the players I have treated it as a round of 16, with the top 4 players getting a bye.
The following matches are a first to 5, format similar to round robin play. Winner advances to Quarter-finals which will be first to 7.

Dapharmer (9) plays abefromann (8)
Servechilled (5) plays stewie (12)
tawnyah (11) plays parimer (6)
blokhin2 (7) plays padajp (10)

Good luck to all
