Am I the only one that doesn't care for the 88 (+18) / 70 (-18) scoring system? Is the plus/minus really necessary?

Ya, I have to say it's cumbersome as well. Maybe that could be placed somewhere else, or only placed next to the winning player. I keep having to look back and forth.
