Mini Tournaments

Having a membership allows for unlimited tournament play. But membership only allows for 3 tournaments a month... what's up with that. How about adding the feature of mini tournaments???...for the paying members???

Maybe you should move this?

Seems to me that this thread should be a post in Feature Requests / Site Improvements...

I don't think it matters which forum you post suggestions for improvement in because...

...the only issue(s) that ZE apparently responds to are reports of bad/childish/threatening behavior. I do give them credit for taking care of multiple bad behavior incidents (all by the same person using different screen names) fairly quickly after I reported them using the "Contact Us" function. He is back again on ZE but has been behaving himself for several months now under a 6th screen name. On the other hand, Wallaby has been trying to get ZE to respond to multiple forum requests for site improvements with no response. Ojibway and Wallaby, I wish you luck. If ZE responds to your requests, I will consider renewing my membership. Best wishes

Mini Tournaments

I think having this posting here is proper. Front and centre as you enter the forum. My beef is...I am paying for an Advertised enticement...of...UNLIMITED...I repeat...UNLIMITED...Tournament Play. But What I receive is not unlimited...it is LIMITED tournament play. Maybe what we need is some sort or petition???

Ojibway...

...agreed. I'd sign your petition and rejoin if it generated a response from ZE

Good luck and great idea

Unfortunately, however, ZE do not respond to any suggestions and no-one is actively managing this site.

I've been searching around for another on-line BG site - something like Gameknot for chess - but so far I can't find anything. I'm considering setting one up myself.

If there was literally no limit to the number of tournaments you could enter wouldn't it devalue winning one of them somewhat? Some people already play too many simultaneously meaning that any they aren't doing well in tend to get a bit forgotten and drag on for months.
