Checker circulation

What exactly is that?

I tried "'checker circulation' backgammon' on google and this thread is only page that came up.

Checker circulation

Imagine you are in a hitting slug fest and you have a blot, single checker on the one or two point in your board. Instead of making the point, you hit one of your opponents checkers in the hope of having those checker hit and recirculated by him. This concept is important in back games or timing battles especially if you are tiring to make point in the outer board as in blocking points instead of making point in your home table. Keeping checkers or points in front of your opponents men, instead of behind him!

@chriss68

Yeah, but why did you resign there and earn yourself a "Backgammon" when you could escape with a gammon??
Limitless frustration I guess...

The worst part of the game in my opinion was when he kept leaving "naked" chips while he was bearing off and you were not able to sit in and hit.

Otherwise, it was NOT an impossible game. Your opponent was just "very" lucky

The single most amazng throw of the history

The game was very exciting by itself, but what makes it more special is my opponents #36 throw and of course what I threw next (and somehow misplayed it because of intense excitement) make this game, in my humble opinion, the most amazing and IMPOSSIBLE game in the history of this website.

Does anybody have a game that can top it in this category? Seriously?

Never give up!

Never give up even your opponent has one more chip to go! See the link- http://zooescape.com/backgammon.pl?v=200&gid=199953 and start on Turn 24. I admit it is pure luck!

I should have played 6/1, 6/4 on move 18. That would have won me the game I think and was, besides, a more sensible play. I believe it was an entirely forced loss though after playing as I did on that move.

A similar mistake...

...led to me losing a huge pip advantage in this game too.

http://zooescape.com/backgammon.pl?v=200&gid=196182

On move 16 I should have played 6/3, 5/3 instead of leaving me with three checkers on my 6 point, which was asking for trouble, which then duly found me.
There is tremendous bad fortune for me in both games, but smallish mistakes at crucial points can make an enormous difference regardless of how the dice then fall.
