@tifoconnapoli Yes, that was hell of a game, but at least you played for a long time and was about to win at many points. In my game, I had barely even moved my chips from their original locations before he started bearing off. That was crazy. By the way, I'm about to catching you and make our score even. Be careful! It's always a pleasure playing against you. Take care |

Help! http://zooescape.com/backgammon.pl?v=200&gid=63987 I rolled first and I had 4-1, then for the rest of the game, I just watched. No, wait a minute, since all was forced moves, I only had the chance to see his last move before getting backgammoned ) Is there anybody who can explain this to me? Lilwarrior, could you do that favor to me yourself? Or maybe someone from Zooescape staff. Hellloooo.... |

Re: Help Artin-- We're not sure what sort of explanation we can provide. It appears your opponent made some calculated risks in the game that paid off in the end. But, it looks like you are now tied with each of you having a backgammon against the other! http://zooescape.com/backgammon.pl?v=200&gid=6655 |

A far from real, but still pleasent world (web site) Dear Staff- I don't mind losing a gammon or even a backgammon once in a while providing that it would be the result of a fair game. If I made risks and play aggressive and unsafe, I should always be prepared for a beat-up like that, but under any circumstances and any possible logic, I can not accept losing a backgammon before making my 3rd unforced move in a game. I've been playing this game for over two decades now. I played against many opponents with a wide range of skills and risk taking potentials. Some of them were playing backgammon for a living, but never, I repeat; never seen a game like this. It's just not realistic. period. Happy Holidays to you all |

Wow!! Wow, an amazing game! I had a similar game, where I thought I was going to lose after only making a couple of moves, but then my luck turned and I actually won: http://zooescape.com/backgammon.pl?v=200&gid=43778 I couldn't believe it myself, but it doesn't make it less real. Also, the more backgammon games you play, the more likely you'll play an amazing game like that. Simple probability. Just relax and enjoy it, if you can. |

Artin76 I second bKing's response of it being an amazing game. I did try it a couple of different ways and found by putting a piece from that first roll 4/1 from the 12 spot on the 17 spot and keeping it safe the game came out differently. I tend to play it safe...mostly...but when I try something where I leave pieces on their own when I could have covered them...the result usually works against me...again...mostly LOL. Of course there are times when I just try a completely 'wild' game but rarely does it pay off...but it's a lot of fun. You are a pretty high rank so mostly your moves work for you! I have seen a game like that with a board...and I've said similar before...long tale but I do know how you are feeling. You say it's not realistic but I've played against a really...um...lucky player...so lucky in fact it wasn't funny. He was my backgammon teacher. I used to cry a lot...but was only 10 and had a history of mum letting me win lots of games. It was an initiation to the real world - for me that is! There were no 0s and 1s in that game...it was all hands on. BTW...Brilliant game bKing! Thanks for sharing it! |
