I too resign But not until it is a mathematical certainty that I will lose, and I can no longer save Gammon or Backgammon. In other words until I will lose the least rating points and cannot win. |

Forced moves It is a wonder to have a player on the bar with a closed board to wait because forced moves are not in effect! |

That was my last straw I am never in a hurry, but when I had to wait for a barred player, I got pi$$ed. |

Hobart I can`t believe u resign so early--I have lost 173 games to doubles or bare off hits and won 80 of them --Lost at least ten when the opponent rolled 3 sets of doubles and won a few of those myself so why u giving away games when some of them u will win---especially on this site where many bad positions the winners are changed with high doubles . And you should know better, you beat me from behind with two sets 3 times. Tonight alone --I am playing in 6 games and was ahead in all of them and 4 games the opponent rolled 6-6. Anyone can win these games now. It happens every day for or against many people. I am counting my games. |

skulls in answer to your look back at each play --that takes more time to go back over them since so many games are being played so I see each roll when it happens--my choice. glad you made it clear how you feel --don`t challenge me and I won`t challenge you. |

you can take me off your ignore list skulls OK, I took the option off - I now play with forced moves on. When I first started on the site, I was losing a lot of games, and I didn't know how to see old ones. I also wondered in some cases how I was losing so badly - as some of the games it seemed like I had the advantage then suddenly the game disappeared and my stats were lower. So, I wanted to see every play - just to get a feel for my bad luck and terrible play. I'm done with that now - no worries. Go ahead and beat me silly, I'm ready Dave |

I have had to turn forced moves off... http://zooescape.com/backgammon.pl?v=200&gid=254079 turn 24 i throw a 21 for which ZE takes tiles off 2 and 1, but that exposes a blot. We three open slots for the person to come in off the bar why would I ever make that play? Have sent to ZE and hopefully they will fix it... |

I don't understand @palwalrus - perhaps I'm being particularly dense, but the move you talk about isn't listed as a forced move and should have been played by you anyway. Are you sure you didn't inadvertently play the move yourself? If ZE had played the move for you, it would be listed as an 'f' move surely? |
