Impossible game Those of you who know and play backgammon in real life, please check out this game and tell me if you believe it is possible: http://zooescape.com/backgammon.pl?v=200&gid=59035 My opponent here, Dinosaur53 is a great player with deep understanding of the game, but I can't really give him the whole credit this time. On-line sites can not claim that their dice rolling system is completely random. I don't buy it anymore. Bottom line: YOU CAN NOT LOSE A BACKGAMMON BY JUST MOVING ONCE! |

frustration Hi Artin I can see why you were frustrated. I tried your game a couple of different ways and found I would have made different moves from you which had much better results. It's just one of the challenges of backgammon. Sometimes risks pay off and sometimes they don't. Did you try this game a few different ways? Do you have a board version? D |

Harsh Wow. I understand the emotions, but sometimes things happen. Look for example at http://zooescape.com/backgammon.pl?v=200&gid=48233 where on about move 17 I have a pip count 43 better than my opponent and on move 20 I have two on the bar and he has a grand barre in his home area. Lost to a gammon. It happens and I had no choice but to make the moves which left the blots. The game can be hell at times. |

Great Fun Lucky Dinosaur53. That kind of game is horrible to be on the receiving end of but GRRREAT fun to be on the winning end of. I'm sure we've all had games where our opponent hardly had a look-in and we thoroughly enjoyed trouncing them!! |

sheesh hey coconutmage - what a game! your opponent had lots of doubles too... I seem to be on a continuing unlucky streak...it seems everytime the game is close my opponent gets doubles at the end... maybe I'm just playing badly most of the time |

@dragonia Nah. Don't sweat it. I am having the same luck. Think I have it in the bag and suddenly my opponent gets two double and so my slide towardd the bottom of the rankings continues. |
